Influence of mobile phone and internet technology on income of rural farmers: Evidence from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan

Mobile phone and Internet technology usage (MPITU) in organizational systems are rapidly escalating. MPITU has advanced agricultural structures considerably revolutionized activities to enhance smart agriculture. The main objective of this research was effectively evaluate the impact on selection sales productivity marketing channels examine if helps increase incomes growers. It is crucial understand whether can ultimately rural farmers. This study used data set 580 wheat growers from four districts Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KPK) Pakistan. We propensity score matching (PSM), ordinary least squares (OLS), Heckman's two-step regression (HTSR) techniques achieve goals. larger MPITU, more substantial positive income. After applying PSM Heckman methods, it found that significantly improved efficiency selecting channels. Its profits also leading (about 41%), with support non-agricultural exceeding 31%.
